# NYC Subway Widget vs Yedi

The clearest difference is rating: NYC Subway Widget at 4.9 against Yedi's 4.3. NYC Subway Widget also leads on ratings volume (398 vs 11) and chart position (#172 vs unranked). Yedi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NYC Subway Widget sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Yedi asks for nothing beyond the download.

NYC Subway Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NYC Subway Widget has 398 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of NYC Subway Widget's written reviews are positive against 100% of Yedi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NYC Subway Widget ships an update weekly, Yedi every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
