# Screw Up Genius vs Shift Drift

The clearest difference is update cadence: Screw Up Genius at every 2 days against Shift Drift's every 8 days. Screw Up Genius also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screw Up Genius sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Shift Drift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screw Up Genius ships an update every 2 days, Shift Drift every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
