# PaceBeep vs PaceShouter

The clearest difference is update cadence: PaceShouter at every 4 days against PaceBeep's monthly. PaceBeep's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PaceBeep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and PaceShouter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PaceBeep ships an update monthly, PaceShouter every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
