# RiseGuide vs Philips MR Imaging

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Philips MR Imaging at none against RiseGuide's 5. Philips MR Imaging also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). RiseGuide's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (20K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RiseGuide sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Philips MR Imaging asks for nothing beyond the download.

Philips MR Imaging holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RiseGuide has 20K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RiseGuide ships an update every 4 days, Philips MR Imaging monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
