# RiseGuide vs KMD Go

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KMD Go at none against RiseGuide's 5. KMD Go also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). RiseGuide's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RiseGuide sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. KMD Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

KMD Go holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RiseGuide has 20K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RiseGuide ships an update every 4 days, KMD Go fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
