# RaceWeek vs Formula Dream

The clearest difference is monetization model: Formula Dream at free against RaceWeek's free with in-app purchases. Formula Dream also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). RaceWeek's advantage is ratings volume (84 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RaceWeek sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per year and Formula Dream sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Formula Dream holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RaceWeek has 84 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of RaceWeek's written reviews are positive against 100% of Formula Dream's.

RaceWeek ships an update every 3 weeks, Formula Dream weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
