# Wick vs Laureata

The clearest difference is rating: Laureata at 5.0 against Wick's 4.3. Wick's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (68 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wick sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Laureata sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Laureata holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wick has 68 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wick ships an update every 8 days, Laureata every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
