# Wick vs Assignd

The clearest difference is rating: Assignd at 5.0 against Wick's 4.2. Wick's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 months) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wick sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Assignd sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assignd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wick has 74 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wick ships an update every 8 days, Assignd every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
