# LLMConnect vs Mag

The clearest difference is rating: Mag at 2.5 against LLMConnect's 1.0. Mag also leads on review sentiment (40% vs 22%) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). LLMConnect's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LLMConnect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Mag sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mag holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mag has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of LLMConnect's written reviews are positive against 40% of Mag's.

LLMConnect ships an update fortnightly, Mag every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
