# Seen vs funoon

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: funoon at none against Seen's 5. funoon also leads on rating (3.3 vs 3.0). Seen's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seen sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. funoon asks for nothing beyond the download.

funoon holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seen has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Seen's written reviews are positive against 0% of funoon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Seen ships an update every 9 days, funoon every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
