# Evolution Life vs LUX

The clearest difference is ads: LUX at none against Evolution Life's shown. LUX also leads on rating (4.2 vs 4.0). Evolution Life's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Evolution Life sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and LUX sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LUX holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Evolution Life's written reviews are positive against 75% of LUX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Evolution Life ships an update weekly, LUX every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
