# Homework Helper vs Acepal

The clearest difference is rating: Acepal at 5.0 against Homework Helper's 4.6. Homework Helper's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (78 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework Helper sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and Acepal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Acepal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework Helper has 78 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Homework Helper ships an update every 3 days, Acepal fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
