# Hivemind vs Cogni

The clearest difference is ads: Cogni at none against Hivemind's shown. Cogni also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 15). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hivemind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Cogni sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Hivemind against 4.7 for Cogni. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cogni has 1.7K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 30% of Hivemind's written reviews are positive against 36% of Cogni's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
