# Hivemind vs Hanly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hanly at 99% against Hivemind's 30%. Hanly also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). Hivemind's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hivemind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Hanly sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hanly holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hanly has 357 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of Hivemind's written reviews are positive against 99% of Hanly's.

Hivemind ships an update weekly, Hanly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
