# StepFits vs StepFit

The clearest difference is ads: StepFits at none against StepFit's shown. StepFit's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 13 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepFits sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StepFit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepFits ships an update every 13 months, StepFit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
