# StepFits vs WalkRide

The clearest difference is update cadence: WalkRide at every 8 days against StepFits's every 13 months. StepFits's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepFits sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WalkRide sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepFits ships an update every 13 months, WalkRide every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
