# Colour Catcher vs AlarmPack

The clearest difference is update cadence: Colour Catcher at weekly against AlarmPack's monthly. Colour Catcher also leads on iOS requirement (12.4 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Colour Catcher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and AlarmPack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
