# Crunchyroll vs BarrowFalls

The clearest difference is rating: BarrowFalls at 5.0 against Crunchyroll's 3.0. Crunchyroll's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crunchyroll sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $13.99 per month and BarrowFalls sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BarrowFalls holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crunchyroll has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
