# Mail ++ vs Dove by Canary Mail

The clearest difference is rating: Dove by Canary Mail at 4.7 against Mail ++'s 4.0. Dove by Canary Mail also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mail ++ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Dove by Canary Mail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
