# Wallpaper Galaxy vs Divan

The clearest difference is update cadence: Divan at every 4 days against Wallpaper Galaxy's fortnightly. Wallpaper Galaxy's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpaper Galaxy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and Divan sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Wallpaper Galaxy against 5.0 for Divan. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 3 respectively.

Wallpaper Galaxy ships an update fortnightly, Divan every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
