# StageDocs vs tour

The clearest difference is update cadence: tour at every 2 weeks against StageDocs's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StageDocs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and tour sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StageDocs ships an update every 3 weeks, tour every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
