# Emma vs Goopy

The clearest difference is rating: Emma at 4.6 against Goopy's 4.0. Emma also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 3) and review sentiment (80% vs 67%). Goopy's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emma sells 39 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Goopy sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Emma holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Emma has 3.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Emma's written reviews are positive against 67% of Goopy's.

Emma ships an update weekly, Goopy every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
