# Emma vs MemoraX

The clearest difference is update cadence: MemoraX at daily against Emma's weekly. MemoraX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Emma's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emma sells 39 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and MemoraX sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MemoraX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Emma has 4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Emma ships an update weekly, MemoraX daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
