# 2AM Project vs Quickway Hibachi

2AM Project and Quickway Hibachi both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of 2AM Project's written reviews are positive against 43% of Quickway Hibachi's. 2AM Project also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Quickway Hibachi's advantage is ratings volume (737 vs 12) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Quickway Hibachi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quickway Hibachi has 737 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 2AM Project's written reviews are positive against 43% of Quickway Hibachi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

2AM Project ships an update monthly, Quickway Hibachi fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
