# EA Connect vs Ch@

The clearest difference is ratings volume: EA Connect at 217 against Ch@'s 3. EA Connect also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for EA Connect against 5.0 for Ch@. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EA Connect has 217 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
