# Langua vs Fluentera

The clearest difference is ads: Fluentera at none against Langua's shown. Fluentera also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Langua's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Langua sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Fluentera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fluentera holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Langua has 2.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Langua ships an update every 3 weeks, Fluentera every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
