# Cidercade vs iwantChips

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iwantChips at 100% against Cidercade's 63%. Cidercade's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cidercade holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Cidercade's written reviews are positive against 100% of iwantChips's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
