# You Are vs Resurface

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Resurface at 5 against You Are's 1. You Are's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. You Are sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Resurface sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for You Are against 5.0 for Resurface. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resurface has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

You Are ships an update every 5 days, Resurface weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
