# Element vs FeelTemp

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FeelTemp at none against Element's 19. FeelTemp also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Element's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 2) and chart position (#62 vs unranked). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Element sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.95 per month. FeelTemp asks for nothing beyond the download.

FeelTemp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Element has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Element ships an update every 2 weeks, FeelTemp every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
