# 留子VPN vs SecureNet VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: SecureNet VPN at every 2 months against 留子VPN's every 20 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 留子VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SecureNet VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

留子VPN ships an update every 20 months, SecureNet VPN every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
