# Stairs vs Voice Clock

The clearest difference is ads: Voice Clock at none against Stairs's shown. Stairs's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stairs sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Voice Clock sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stairs ships an update every 2 days, Voice Clock every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
