# Foundation vs Apple Games

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Apple Games at none against Foundation's 12. Apple Games also leads on ratings volume (78K vs 9K). Foundation's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#13 vs unranked). On price, rating and review sentiment there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Foundation sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Apple Games asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Foundation against 4.6 for Apple Games. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apple Games has 78K ratings behind it against 9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Foundation's written reviews are positive against 69% of Apple Games's.

Foundation ships an update fortnightly, Apple Games monthly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
