# Foundation vs Tavern Legend

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tavern Legend at every 5 days against Foundation's fortnightly. Foundation's advantage is chart position (#12 vs #100) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Foundation sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Tavern Legend sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Foundation against 4.6 for Tavern Legend. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9.2K and 3.2K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Foundation's written reviews are positive against 56% of Tavern Legend's.
