# Liven vs Mossi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mossi at 67% against Liven's 20%. Mossi also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Liven's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (200 vs 23). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liven sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Mossi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Liven holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Liven has 200 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Liven's written reviews are positive against 67% of Mossi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Liven ships an update every 9 days, Mossi every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
