# Planbook vs Limelight

The clearest difference is update cadence: Limelight at every 2 days against Planbook's weekly. Planbook's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planbook sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Limelight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Planbook ships an update weekly, Limelight every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
