# BestReels vs FlareFlow

The clearest difference is rating: FlareFlow at 4.7 against BestReels's 4.2. FlareFlow also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 2.2K). BestReels's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (76% vs 58%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BestReels sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and FlareFlow sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlareFlow holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.2K and 11K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of BestReels's written reviews are positive against 58% of FlareFlow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BestReels ships an update every 3 weeks, FlareFlow fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
