# BestReels vs YMDA

The clearest difference is rating: YMDA at 5.0 against BestReels's 4.2. YMDA also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 17) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). BestReels's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 1) and chart position (#101 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BestReels sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. YMDA asks for nothing beyond the download.

YMDA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BestReels has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BestReels ships an update every 3 weeks, YMDA every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
