# Popular Pays by Lightricks vs Clara for Creators

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Clara for Creators at 75% against Popular Pays by Lightricks's 37%. Clara for Creators also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Popular Pays by Lightricks's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Popular Pays by Lightricks holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Popular Pays by Lightricks has 589 ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Popular Pays by Lightricks's written reviews are positive against 75% of Clara for Creators's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Popular Pays by Lightricks ships an update every 6 weeks, Clara for Creators every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
