# Speed Reading vs ELoLab

The clearest difference is update cadence: ELoLab at every 5 days against Speed Reading's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed Reading sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and ELoLab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed Reading ships an update every 3 weeks, ELoLab every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
