# TextFast vs MTgames

The clearest difference is monetization model: TextFast at free against MTgames's free with in-app purchases. TextFast also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). MTgames's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (36 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TextFast holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTgames has 36 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TextFast ships an update every 6 weeks, MTgames every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
