# Bryant SmartHome vs Camp Chef Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Bryant SmartHome at 3.5 against Camp Chef Connect's 1.9. Bryant SmartHome also leads on ratings volume (819 vs 76). Camp Chef Connect's advantage is review sentiment (18% vs 10%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bryant SmartHome holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bryant SmartHome has 819 ratings behind it against 76, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Bryant SmartHome's written reviews are positive against 18% of Camp Chef Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
