# NONA Official vs BiteBasket

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BiteBasket at 100% against NONA Official's 50%. BiteBasket also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and device support (3 vs 1). NONA Official's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (172 vs 11). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NONA Official holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NONA Official has 172 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of NONA Official's written reviews are positive against 100% of BiteBasket's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NONA Official ships an update every 4 months, BiteBasket every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
