# Novel Generator vs ReadDate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Novel Generator at every 3 weeks against ReadDate's every 3 months. Novel Generator also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novel Generator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and ReadDate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
