# Chihu vs Best

The clearest difference is monetization model: Chihu at free against Best's free with in-app purchases. Chihu also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (17 vs 26.0). Best's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chihu sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Best sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chihu holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively.

Chihu ships an update every 10 days, Best every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
