# Chihu vs List or Pick

The clearest difference is monetization model: Chihu at free against List or Pick's freemium. Chihu also leads on iOS requirement (17 vs 26.0). List or Pick's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chihu sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and List or Pick sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Chihu against 5.0 for List or Pick. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

Chihu ships an update every 10 days, List or Pick every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
