# IF Remote vs Flatout ATC

The clearest difference is rating: Flatout ATC at 4.4 against IF Remote's 3.5. Flatout ATC also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (42 vs 8). IF Remote's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IF Remote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Flatout ATC sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flatout ATC holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flatout ATC has 42 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of IF Remote's written reviews are positive against 67% of Flatout ATC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IF Remote ships an update every 4 days, Flatout ATC every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
