Granizo warns you when hail is nearby, before it arrives. See on a map where the storms are, how far they are from you and where they are heading. Get an alert on your phone even when the app is closed, and warn your family and neighbors with one tap. WHAT IT DOES • Hail alerts A notification when hail is detected near your location, with the distance: 5 km to act now, 10 km to get ready, 15 km to stay alert. • Storm radar A map with hail, heavy rain and light rain around you. Tap a storm to see its distance, wind and size. • Share an alert Send the storm over WhatsApp or any app. Whoever opens the link sees it on the map, or can get the app. • No signal, still informed If you lose connection, the app shows the latest available radar with its time, so you are not left in the dark during a storm. • With or without GPS Use your current location or pick a spot on the map: your home, your farm, where you park your car. • In your language Spanish, English, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. With dark mode. HOW IT WORKS 1. Turn on notifications and choose your location. 2. Granizo analyzes satellite imagery and detects hail storms. 3. If there is hail near your area, it warns you. 4. Cover your car, bring things inside, warn your people. PERMISSIONS • Location (while using the app): to measure the distance to each storm. If you prefer not to share it, pick a spot on the map. • Notifications: to warn you even when the app is closed. PRIVACY Your location is only used for alerts. The app is free and supported by ads.
