# (Not Boring) Camera vs Turing Patterns

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Turing Patterns at none against (Not Boring) Camera's 5. Turing Patterns also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). (Not Boring) Camera's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (5K vs 3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. (Not Boring) Camera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Turing Patterns asks for nothing beyond the download.

Turing Patterns holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: (Not Boring) Camera has 5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
