# Pookie Tools vs Doolin

The clearest difference is rating: Doolin at 4.5 against Pookie Tools's 3.3. Doolin also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). Pookie Tools's advantage is ratings volume (62 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pookie Tools sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Doolin sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Doolin holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pookie Tools has 62 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pookie Tools ships an update weekly, Doolin every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
