# Holy Version Bible App vs LIT Bible

The clearest difference is rating: Holy Version Bible App at 4.6 against LIT Bible's 3.0. Holy Version Bible App also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 12) and chart position (#154 vs unranked). LIT Bible's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Holy Version Bible App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. LIT Bible asks for nothing beyond the download.

Holy Version Bible App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Holy Version Bible App has 1.8K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Holy Version Bible App's written reviews are positive against 50% of LIT Bible's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
